REVIEW: Feed The Family - “Zing Language”
Album Released on: Oct. 11th 2024
Let me start with my guy ”You know voice, you know name Duny Duny” Dun Dealy, the monarch of his crew. I first heard of him around 2013 on a track he was featured on called "Drug Game," where he dropped the line, "Dun Dealy, the neighborhood dealer"—classic! From that moment of time, I kept up with him thought out the years, following his journey through mixtapes, albums, and everything in between, right up to today.
And now, introduce Dun Dealy's team, Feed The Family, and their new album Zing Language. This is their second project, following their self-titled debut Feed The Family. With Zing Language, they've taken things to another level—it's CRAZY! Boston doesn’t really have rap groups like this; they’ve carved out their own lane. To me, they’re Boston’s Wu-Tang Clan, with their own unique sound, creativity, and unapologetic attitude. Shoutout to Bodi Rock—I've never met him, but I love his style and hustle.
Two of my favorite tracks on this project are “March 4th” featuring Dun Dealy, Shaykh Hanif, and BoriRock—OMG! they absolutely crushed it! The beat is insane on this. Also on “FTF4ever” featuring Dun Dealy, Shaykh Hanif,Top Hooter, BoriRock really brought their A-game on this one, I LOVE IT. Big shoutout to TREMENDISS for those incredible beats!
This project has even more heat. There's 'Bird Bath' featuring Millyz (the first single), 'Sheep in Wolves Clothing,' 'We Ain't Scammers,' 'Oye Lick,' 'Favorite Zing' (the second single), and 'Color Carolina.' Shout out again to TREMENDISS for those incredible beats throughout the project!"
“Salute to the entire Feed The Family team “Zing Language” is an absolute must-listen. As a fan much respect to everyone involved for delivering such great work on this project!"
**Note:
My review, my thoughts, Hate it or Love it…. I don’t care, it's the real Truth and Facts. That’s what’s missing in New England Hip Hop and Hip Hop as a whole.
I’ll be reviewing music on a consistent basis as new releases come out. My reviews are purely about the music, with no bias or personal connections. I have no ties to any artist and I haven’t met this artist. It's all about recognizing and appreciating good music for what it is.".
Thank You for reading
